In a 4 week period, webtext.com has received 2 awards for innovation. The company, which is headquartered in Ireland with offices in the United States, has been recognised by the Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG) and Galway Chamber of Commerce.

webtext.com has been chosen as winner of the prestigious 2011 award for eBusiness Innovation by Galway Chamber of Commerce. Webtext.com CEO AJ Cahill accepted the award on behalf of the company and said “We have always taken pride in our ability to innovate relentlessly to provide users with rapid and targeted access to their customer base and to deliver this service with zero costs for set up and support.”

Hot on the heels of this honour, the company was selected by the ITLG as one of the finalists for the closed door Investor Workshops at the 2011 ITLG “Silicon Valley Comes to Ireland” event. The company had the opportunity to present to the ITLG delegation, including representatives of the investment arms of key multinational technology companies such as Cisco, AT&T & Intel.

The ITLG is an independent organization comprised of a number of high-level Irish or Irish-American technology leaders based in Silicon Valley. The next step in the process is the announcement in Spring 2012 of a short list of just 10 companies who will travel to Stanford for the 5th Annual ITLG/Irish Times Silicon Valley Awards in Spring 2012.
