How It Works

You need to add our smsrelay as a contact within your IM client. You can then send messages to mobiles by sending an IM to the smsrelay using the format “mobile number” followed by your message, i.e. “447123456789 Have you made the delivery to 12 Main Street yet?”.
The message is then converted into a SMS text message by webtext.com and delivered to your contact's mobile phone as a text message.
Replies from mobile phones are converted from SMS text message into an instant message and are then delivered directly to your IM client window as normal.
