How can people I contact automatically opt-out or remove themselves?

This is a question we get asked a lot. The simple answer is that if you send a 2-way message and the person replies STOP then they will be automatically removed from your account. If you try and add this contact number again by uploading a spreadsheet or csv file then our system we prevent this contact number from being uploaded. This is done to prevent you uploading the person in error. To upload them again you will need to add them manually as a single contact.

If you want to remove a person manually but block or “blacklist” them from getting a message from your account again. Then just delete the contact but tick the option “Add to blacklist”.

From today we have lowered once again the prices of sending messages to most destinations. Because of increased volumes you our customers are sending we have secured better wholesale terms. This has enabled us to pass on another decreases in SMS text message costs to you our customers.

• UK pricing is now between 5.8 to 5.1 euro cents (approximately 5.3 to 4.6 pence).
• Ireland pricing is now between 3.9 to 3.2 euro cents.
• Most destinations worldwide are now between 3.6 to 2.9 euro cents.

Following feedback from customers and potential customers we have put together a new look website. We did this for 4 reasons.

1. To increase our internet search engine presence for our online SMS service
2. So new customers could quickly find the information they need quickly
3. So existing customers could become aware of new features we add all the time.
4. We have also made all connections to the service secure and encrypted once logged in.

The website is designed to load very fast. We have also added an extra server for UK customers to increase their access speed. Most of the changes in recent months have been to the inside of our service, this time most of the changes are on the public part of our website. We have also introduced a new logo.

We have laid out our SMS gateway or server SMS API information in it’s own website in addition to the downloadable PDF. This is to aid programmers and developers. The heart of our service has always been easy of use, our online SMS tool will get it’s own makeover in the coming months.

We also intend in the coming months to launch both German and Spanish language websites to complement our English language service.
