About

webtext.com provides services that enable businesses and organisations to send messages to individuals or groups. These messages can be sent from a customer account on the webtext.com website using a simple and intuitive web based service. Alternatively, messages can be generated by an organisation’s Enterprise software, for example a CRM package, and forwarded by webtext.com’s system using a gateway API service.

Messages can be delivered as SMS text messages to mobile phones or as voice calls to mobile or landline phones following text to speech (TTS) conversion.

SMS text messaging and voice are the only channels that are “always on”. More than 9 out of 10 texts get read, most within seconds of being received. They are fast becoming the method of choice for businesses to achieve rapid and targeted access to their customers. Messages are virtually instant, traceable and delivered directly to their clients’ pockets, generating quantifiable response rates.

webtext.com’s vision is to leverage the inherent strengths of SMS and Voice by making these channels more accessible to businesses. In addition to business messaging, we are constantly developing related intelligent services that make enterprise software smarter (e.g. presence, number profiling, IM to SMS and IM to Voice).

webtext.com’s customer base is international and includes leading companies and organisations in the areas of Contact Centre and CRM software, telecoms, education, entertainment, finance and insurance, health, retail, hospitality and security.
